SaFlector® SLEEVES WITH SCHOOL ZONE CROSSING SIGNS
Safety and sign conspicuity are particularly critical when drivers enter school zones, and SaFlector® sleeves help to highlight key school signing, including school crosswalk signs.
Marked crosswalks in school zones are generally supported with the placement of crosswalk warning signs next to the crosswalk, one on each side of the street.
By adding 3-sided SaFlector® sleeves to the posts for the crossing signs on each side of the street, you increase the number of cues drivers see for the upcoming crosswalk. These include:
- The front side of the sleeve, beneath the pedestrian crossing sign, facing the driver’s direction of travel.
- The back side of the sleeve, beneath the crossing sign, facing drivers approaching the crosswalk from the other direction.
